Perform plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
Document patient care given.
Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
Assist patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provide patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
Observe central monitor screens, interpret, recognize and record changes in patient's rhythms and notify nurse as appropriate.
Supervise staff and determine staffing level and assignments based on staff availability, abilities, census, patient acuity, and work/patient flow.

Experience: Six months to one year experience as RN preferred; New Graduates will be considered.

Education: Associate Degree, Bachelor Degree or RN Diploma required.

License & Certification:

Current TN or Multi-State RN licensure
Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire or must be obtained within 90 days of employment
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within 12 months of employment
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 12 months of employment
