Job Responsibilities

Coordinates functions and activities related to a single departmental function.
Responsible for a clinic unit.
Coordinates the scheduling efforts of the unit RN's.
Acts as liaison person to internal and external customers (i.e., pre-hospital providers, medical and nursing staff, hospital administration).
Responsible for developing and implementing plans/processes for meeting regulatory requirements.
Trains and mentors staff.

Preferred Skills

Management experience
Two years supervisory experience
Certification in specialty area of practice

Requirements

Experience: Two years relevant clinical nursing experience and for Level II EQ only: A minimum of two years of current Level III NICU experience including neonatal ventilator.

Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred.

License & Certification:

License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona
CPR
ACLS as applicable by Facility/by Department
Additional certifications as required for specific departments
