Job Responsibilities
- Provide care based on licensure/certification within the scope of practice.
- Maintain updated clinical records for each patient and meet documentation deadlines.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of nursing services on an ongoing basis.
- Consult with physicians regarding alterations to patient care plans and report changes to the nurse supervisor.
- Mentor and/or coach new employees during patient-specific orientations.
- Educate patients and caregivers about care needs.
- Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement programs as requested.
- Continually strive to improve nursing care skills.
- Attend all mandatory training and in-services as assigned.
- Submit required personnel documentation in a timely manner.
- Adhere to compliance and ethics expectations.
- Maintain patient and family confidentiality.
- Exhibit professional and supportive interpersonal communication skills.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
Core Skills
- LPN/LVN Nursing Degree
- Unencumbered LPN/LVN License
- 1 year of nursing experience
- Valid CPR certification
- Cleared Hep B and TB screenings
Preferred Skills
- Mentoring experience

Experience: 1 year of demonstrated experience
