Required Skills

Core Skills

Critical care nursing experience
Patient-care intervention

Preferred Skills

Bachelor's degree in nursing
American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification
ACLS within 3 months of hire
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
American Heart Association OR Emergency Nurse Pediatric Certification (ENPC)
Emergency Nurse Association certification required or within six months of hire

Requirements

Experience: 2 years hospital nursing experience in acute care, ICU and/or Emergency Department required.

Education: Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school (Bachelor's degree preferred).

License & Certification:

Current VA (or Multi-state) RN license
American Heart Association Basic Life Support
ACLS (within 3 months of hire)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Emergency Nurse Association certification (required within 6 months of hire)
