Job Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and comfort services to terminally ill patients.
- Assist with bathing patients, ensuring privacy, comfort, and safety.
- Assist with mouth care, hair care, nail care, and foot care.
- Assist patients in dressing and with ambulation, transfers, and the use of assistive devices.
- Turn and position patients, and assist in range of motion exercises.
- Facilitate elimination using bedpans, urinals, or care for indwelling catheters.
- Facilitate nutrition by preparing meals and offering fluids to patients.
- Monitor and report on patients' conditions and vital signs.
- Observe changes in patients' skin and mental status.
- Participate in bereavement care and team conferences as requested.
- Perform basic housekeeping duties and manage agency resources.
- Run errands and maintain hygiene and safety in patient environments.
Required Skills
