Provide nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process and standards of practice.
Perform all staff nurse activities and function as charge nurse when assigned.
Maintain overall accountability/responsibility for assigned patients.
Delegate tasks to Technical Nurses, Patient Care Associates, and/or Sitters.
Ensure assignments are performed appropriately to the age and developmental level of patients.

Demonstrates teamwork
Communicates in a professional manner with all members of the healthcare team
Ability to learn and apply computer technologies and procedures affecting patient care delivery

Experience: Less than 1 year experience for EDFP Fellowes, 1-2 years of Emergency Department or ICU experience as a Registered Nurse.

Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing; must have a BSN degree within three (3) years of hire or transfer.
