Provides direct and indirect patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
Meets the physical, psychosocial, religious/cultural needs of the patient and family.
Communicates effectively with all members of the health care team regarding changes in the patient's condition or response to treatment.
Requires critical thinking skills and decisive judgment.

Requirements

Experience: NEW GRADUATE RN

Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school

License & Certification:

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of employment
North Carolina or compact state Registered Nurse (RN) license upon hire
Handle with Care (HWC) within 6 months of hire
