Position: Support role under a Registered Nurse for patient-centered care

Job Responsibilities
- Monitor patients’ vital signs remotely through telemetry systems in a centralized monitoring station
- Ensure continuous surveillance of patient data
- Promptly identify and respond to any abnormalities to ensure patient safety and timely intervention
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Telemetry monitoring and reading
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Understanding of cardiac pathophysiology
Preferred Skills
- One to two years of ECG or related healthcare experience
Requirements
Experience: Minimum one year of experience in healthcare with previous telemetry monitoring experience preferred
Education: High school diploma or equivalent GED required
License & Certification:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or equivalent within first two weeks of employment
- Proof of successful completion of Dysrhythmia course and EKG exam prior to completion of orientation required
Schedule:
- Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime as required
