Job Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive ongoing care of each patient to ensure their dialysis treatment stays on track.
- Work in conjunction with dialysis RNs to deliver dialysis care.
- Spend the majority of the day in direct one-on-one patient care to provide safe, comfortable, and hygienic dialysis treatment.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment including measuring and recording stats and hemodialysis machine setup.
- Travel to cover other SNF clinics in the region as required.
- Support the training of new teammates through classroom and hands-on learning.
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Current LPN-LVN license in the state of practice
- Current CPR certification
- IV certification (if required by state regulations)
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook
Preferred Skills
- One year's nursing experience in a hospital or clinical setting
- BONENT or CHT certification (preferred or as required by state regulation)
- Functional proficiency in computer systems of DaVita within 90 days of hire
Requirements
Experience: Minimum of one year's nursing experience preferred
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
License & Certification:
- LPN-LVN license
- CPR certification
- IV certification (if required by state regulations)
Schedule:
- 3-4 Days A Week
- Alternating Saturdays
