Job Responsibilities

Effectively identify, evaluate, and address disease prevention and health promotion issues for the population.
Administer quality patient care while working independently and collaboratively with the medical staff.
Provide directions to nursing and other staff.
Prescribe medications and treatments and perform ongoing medication management.
Order lab and diagnostic tests when appropriate and interpret test results.
Educate patients and/or families about preventive care, medical issues, and prescribed treatments.
Maintain legible, accurate, and confidential medical records.
Document all medical evaluations, diagnoses, procedures, treatment, outcomes, education, referrals, and consultations.
Analyze and assimilate new knowledge into clinical practice.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Experience: Post-training experience in a primary care setting preferred, minimum of five years clinical experience required for some specific roles.

Education: Must fulfill educational requirements to obtain ARNP license in the State of Practice.

License & Certification:

Nurse Practitioner - Oregon or Washington or Alaska
Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration
Basic Life Support certification
Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred
