Job Responsibilities
- Provide advanced practice care in the observation units of the emergency department.
- Collaborate closely with the emergency department, consultants, support staff, and administrative physicians.
- Manage a patient case load that includes cardiac, neurological, surgical, and medical cases, as well as trauma, overdoses, and psychiatric disorders.
- Work under the supervision of a physician with 24/7 oversight.
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Two years of clinical experience in emergency medicine, hospital medicine, cardiology or critical care.
- ACLS certification.
