Job Responsibilities

Provide safe and effective nursing care to all patients arriving to the Emergency Department utilizing the nursing process.
Direct and supervise assigned personnel delivering patient care.
Administer and perform specialized nursing care according to assigned unit and treatments for patients.
Deliver the most remarkable patient experience in every dimension, every time.
Foster teamwork, team member engagement, and community involvement.

Required Skills

Core Skills

Licensed Nursing practice
Basic Life Support certification
Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification

Preferred Skills

Six months licensed nursing practice on a medical/surgical unit
One year Emergency Department or Critical Care experience

Requirements

Experience: Six months licensed nursing practice on a medical/surgical unit preferred. One year Emergency Department or Critical Care experience preferred.

Education: Must have South Carolina Registered Nurse license or multistate licensure from another Compact State within the prescribed guidelines of the South Carolina Nurse Practice Act.

License & Certification:

South Carolina Registered Nurse license
BLS certification (required within 6 months of hire)
ACLS certification (required within 6 months of hire)
PALS certification (required within 12 months of hire)
