Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day clinical operations of primary care locations.
- Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of processes that improve procedures and patient throughput.
- Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing nursing team.
- Supervise six members of the nursing leadership team.
- Lead the design and implementation of clinical workflows for safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Collaborate with providers and administrative leadership.
- Ensure adequate access to care and patient flow throughout the clinic sites.
- Report directly to the AVP of Clinical Operations.
- Supervise Nurse Managers and Clinical Operations Coordinator.
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in New York State.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Word.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Ability to prioritize and delegate as appropriate.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in an EMR system (Medent).
Preferred Skills
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred.
- Sensitivity to HIV/AIDS, addiction, and LGBT issues.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience.
Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred.
License & Certification:
- Current BLS certification.
