Completes nursing assessment of patient conditions consistent with age and condition.
Performs ongoing patient and family assessments and identifies variations from diagnoses.
Continually evaluates patient responses to care, teaching, and discharge plans.
Documents patient progress in appropriate charts and shares observations with healthcare team.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing required activities to ensure compliance with medication standards.
Provides orientation to the unit and hospital systems to patients and family members.
Supervises patient care activities of assigned team members and delegates appropriately.
Provides timely feedback and review of care delivery to ensure maintenance of patient safety.
Works collaboratively with patient care team and family members to establish a plan of care.
Participates in patient care rounds and conferences as appropriate.
Fosters a positive learning environment through mentorship and guidance for students and new employees.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as requested.

Experience: 2 years of experience

Education: Two-year (ADN) degree in nursing, a four-year degree (BSN) in nursing, or a Diploma Nursing degree

License & Certification:

Current State of Arizona RN license or compact state license
Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association
