Job Responsibilities

Assess and use expertise to determine the best course of action to support, monitor, and treat patients in critical care situations.
Provide care requirements aligned with the Registered Nurse scope of practice as defined by the Board of Registered Nursing.
Utilize critical thinking skills to manage critically ill or injured adult or pediatric patients.
Act as team leader and maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
Conduct regular equipment checks and stock maintenance.
Work collaboratively and professionally with allied health and public safety personnel.
Maintain required certifications and ongoing training for the position.

Requirements

Experience: Minimum 2 years of ICU RN or 5 years ED/CCT/Cardiac/Trauma RN experience.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

License & Certification:

Valid Driver’s License
Current Registered Nurse license
Current ACLS provider status
Current PALS provider status
Current BLS-C provider status
PHTLS and NRP Provider Certification (must obtain within 6 months of hire)
ICS courses: FEMA - IS-100B (ICS 100), IS-700A (NIMS)
