Job Responsibilities
- Accountable and responsible for the provision of patient care and comfort under the direct supervision of a registered nurse according to established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Accurately reports information to the registered nurse.
- Completes all technical skills and patient care procedures as delegated according to established Core Care Partner 2 Skills & Responsibilities.
- Considers patient population specific age, developmental stages, and unique needs.
- Adheres to guidelines dealing with electronic records, charts, and documents to ensure patient/family privacy and security.
- Demonstrates efficiency in achieving desired work without wasted time or resources.
- Collaborates with patients and families to modify care/services and establish effective partnerships.
- Provides defect-free and respectful care/service to patients, families, and customers to achieve service excellence.
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Ability to perform tasks on attached Care Partner 2 Core Skills Checklist.
- Ability to interact with electronic medical records and communication systems.
- Understanding written and oral instructions.
- Basic math skills.
Preferred Skills
- One (1) to three (3) years in a clerical position in healthcare.
- Exposure to patient records, diagnoses, or dictation.
Requirements
Experience: One (1) year relevant experience as a Care Partner or nursing assistant required.
Education: Certified Nursing Assistant or completion of a nursing assistant/nursing program required.
License & Certification:
- IV Therapy Certification required within thirty (30) days of employment.
- BLS certification required within thirty (30) days of employment.
- Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting
- Act 33

- Act 73
- FBI Clearance
Schedule:
- Rotating days, weekends, and holidays.
- Rotating 12-hour shifts: 6:30 AM-7 PM and 6:30 PM-7 AM.
