Job Responsibilities

Provide safe and efficient care to patients in the operating room under the supervision of the manager and registered nurse.
Maintain a strong working knowledge of the perioperative setting.
Communicate effectively in a manner consistent with the mission and goals of the organization.

Required Skills

Core Skills

Basic Cardiac Life Support
Certified Surgical Technician (CST) certification
Effective communication skills

Preferred Skills

Two years Operating Room Experience
HCA Preceptor Training

Requirements

Experience: 1+ years of experience in a healthcare setting

Education: Graduate of a formal training program in operating room technology or from an accredited school of Nursing; must pass CST exam within 180 days of graduation.

License & Certification:

Certified Surgical Technician (CST)
Completion of training program in Surgical Technology
