Oversee day-to-day patient care and nursing staff
Report to the Director of Nursing to ensure quality patient care
Serve as a dependable and personable liaison between residents and families
Ensure compliance with federal and state regulatory standards
Supervise and direct activities related to quality assurance, infection control, and utilization review
Receive physicians' instructions and ensure orders are transmitted to other units
Oversee delegation of nursing and therapeutic procedures to professionals
Make regular patient rounds to observe and assess resident conditions
Evaluate quality of care provided and ensure proper documentation

Experience: At least two years nursing experience and one year supervisory experience
