Job Responsibilities
- Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA.
- Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
- Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
- Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS) certification (if pediatric care is included in the facility scope)
Preferred Skills
- One year of OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience
- Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing
Requirements
Experience: One year of OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
License & Certification:
- Current state nursing licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS) (if required)
