Job Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to pediatric and maternal patients in their homes
- Conduct health assessments, provide patient/family education, and complete accurate documentation
- Support maternal health visits during newborn care as needed (counts as two patient visits)
- Monitor clinical status, administer medications, and report changes in condition
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and patient confidentiality protocols
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Active New York State RN License
- AHA BLS certification
- PALS certification
- Experience in acute care settings (MedSurg, Pediatrics, Maternal Child, or Critical Care)
Preferred Skills
- Current experience in Maternal Child Home Health
Requirements
Experience: Minimum 2 years in an acute care setting, including 1 year in Mother & baby and 2 years in home health
Education:
License & Certification:
- Active New York State RN License
- AHA BLS
- AHA PALS
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, 5 days/week
- 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day
