Job Responsibilities

Leads the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care services, demonstrating clinical expertise and ensuring a therapeutic environment.
Ensures efficient staffing based on patient census and acuity, coordinating with the Scheduling Manager and facilitating admissions and discharges for optimal throughput.
Monitors patient progress, makes recommendations in line with treatment plans, and addresses medical/nursing needs to enhance patient care.
Provides clinical supervision, guides mental health specialists and nurses in patient care responsibilities, and offers constructive feedback to reinforce desired behaviors.
Acts as a leader in emergency situations, expedites concerns to senior administrators, and serves as a liaison with patients, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure quality care.
Manages personnel activities, including staff supervision, orientation, performance evaluations, and employee relations.
Assists in HR processes, anticipates staffing needs, and offers proactive solutions.

Experience: Previous RN Supervisory experience

Current State of Alaska RN license
Current CPR or BLS certification, preferred
