Job Responsibilities
- Provide expert nursing care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit.
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to achieve the best patient outcomes.
- Utilize critical thinking and vast medical knowledge to assess and address patient needs.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care plans and progress.
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Current Connecticut RN License
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- BLS certification from American Heart Association
- One year of acute care nursing experience
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Critical Care
- ADN/ASN with pursuit of BSN or MSN
Requirements
Experience: Minimum one year acute care Registered Nurse experience strongly preferred
Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing school (BSN Required)
License & Certification:
- Current RN License in Connecticut
- BLS certification by the American Heart Association
Schedule:
- Permanent nights
- Every other weekend
- Every other holiday
