Position: Clinical Manager overseeing direct care patient services
Job Type: Full Time
Pay: $84,100 - $115,800 per year, eligible for bonus incentive plan

Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee all direct care patient services provided by clinical personnel.
- Develop, plan, implement, analyze, and organize clinical operations for the managed location.
- Conduct and delegate assessment and reassessment of patients and update care plans.
- Manage assignment of caregivers and oversee delivery of care to all patients served.
- Review available patient information related to cases and determine home health or hospice needs.
- Ensure patients meet admission criteria and make admission decisions.
- Assign appropriate clinicians to cases as needed.
- Instruct and guide clinicians to promote effective performance and quality home care services.
- Monitor cases to ensure documentation compliance with regulatory agencies and third-party payers.
- Coordinate communication between team members, attending physicians, and caregivers.
- Work with the Branch Director and Company Finance Department on revenue and budget goals.
- Participate in sales and marketing initiatives.
- Supervise clinical employees at the specific location.
- Handle employee corrective action and discipline issues fairly and objectively.
- Participate in interviewing, hiring, training, and development of direct care clinicians.
- Evaluate clinician performance relative to job goals.
- Assess staff education needs and conduct regular staff education as needed.
- Analyze situations and identify problems, evaluating alternative courses of action.
- Review clinical staff documentation for appropriateness of care, delivery, and documentation requirements.
- Oversee QA/PI activities and work with Utilization Review staff on performance review.
- Provide direct patient care in emergencies.
- Act as Branch Director in his/her absence.
- Ensure compliance with Company standards and external regulatory authorities.
- Maintain relationships with referral/community sources and participate in professional organizations.
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Registered Nurse license
- Management experience in home care or hospice
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to analyze clinical situations
Preferred Skills
- Experience with regulatory compliance
- Knowledge of Performance Improvement principles
- Experience in training and development
Requirements
Experience: Two years as a Registered Nurse with at least one year of management experience.
Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
License & Certification:
- Registered Nurse license
- CPR certification
- Valid driver’s license
