Job Responsibilities
- Assume responsibility for the management and delivery of patient care utilizing the nursing process.
- May be required to float to other units.
- Participate in on call status as required.
- Adhere to National Patient Safety Goals based on patient contact level.
- Conduct assessment and re-assessments of patients.
- Develop and implement a plan of care.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of patient care interventions.
- Supervise and coordinate other licensed and non-licensed personnel in patient care.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to non-licensed personnel and students.
- Assist with physical restraint of patients as needed using Behavior Management Technique System.
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Oklahoma or multistate license
- BLS certification upon hire or completion within 30 days
- Effective communication skills in English
Preferred Skills
- Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse (CHPN)
- Current ACLS certification for Radiology
- PALS certification for Emergency Department
