Job Responsibilities
- Monitor compliance with State and Federal regulations.
- Track and trend case management data, including escalation of actions by the case management team.
- Receive, research, document, and resolve quality of care and/or health and safety issues.
- Track, trend, and monitor status of cases for accurate and timely completion.
- Ensure quality of care for AHCCCS members, respecting their unique healthcare needs.
- Contribute clinical knowledge to resolve quality of care concerns.
- Complete independent reviews of data and deliverables to ensure compliance.
- Provide education and technical assistance to stakeholders regarding services and requirements.
- Develop improved processes to enhance unit efficiency.
- Lead special projects and reviews, providing updates to management.
- Develop metrics for population-specific outcome objectives.
- Conduct on-site investigations regarding health and safety concerns.
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Knowledge of State and Federal Policies governing Title XIX and Title XXI.
- Acute nursing and clinical processes including assessment and intervention.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills for workload management.
- Project management to meet goals and deadlines.
- Research and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills
- Arizona Drivers License.
- Experience in a managed care environment.
- Certification in Healthcare Quality or case management.
Requirements
Experience: Three (3) years of relevant healthcare experience.
Education: Possession of a current license to practice as a registered nurse in Arizona.
