Job Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Assist in rectifying deficiencies in the work environment as requested.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments via phone or in person and implement nursing interventions.
- Document all nursing assessments in the patient’s medical record and ensure documentation is clear, complete, and legible.
- Perform routine nursing duties including phlebotomy, medication administration, measurement of vital signs, and preparation of lab specimens.
- Demonstrate clinical competency in performing complex specialty-related procedures.
- Communicate and collaborate with other clinical and administrative departments to coordinate appropriate patient care.
- Triage and prioritize incoming telephone calls using clinical assessment skills.
- Manage urgent/emergent medical situations as appropriate according to the organization’s protocols.
- Serve as a resource for staff and physicians for daily problem solving and decision-making.
- Initiate and coordinate patient education and ensure patients understand educational materials.

Requirements
Experience: 2 years of relevant clinical experience in an acute or ambulatory care environment.
Education: Associate’s degree in Nursing.
License & Certification:
- State Licensed Registered Nurse for State of employment
- Certification in Basic CPR
