Job Responsibilities

Serves as a role model for Patients First philosophy.
Provides direct patient care.
Provides patient and family education for designated patient populations.
Assesses, implements, and evaluates the plan of care for designated patients.
Ensures that quality outcomes are met for designated patients.
Demonstrates in-depth clinical knowledge, skills, and expertise.
Ability to integrate theoretical knowledge base and clinical expertise in decision making.
Assures a cost-effective approach to patient care.
Participates in development of policies, and other patient care standards.
Participates in unit/departmental/divisional or hospital committees/task forces as assigned by manager.

Required Skills

Core Skills

Registered Nursing license issued by the State of Illinois
Bachelor of Science Nursing
BLS through American Heart Association
Minimum of three years of clinical experience
