Job Responsibilities

Assume responsibility for Critical Care Patients
Conduct assessments and devise care plans
Adjust critical drips to ensure hemodynamic stability and appropriate sedation levels
Attend to patients requiring advanced monitoring and heightened observation
Utilize invasive equipment and administer intricate medication regimens

Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in an Acute Inpatient setting

Education: Completion of an accredited Nursing Program with an Associate's degree in Nursing mandatory; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred

License & Certification:

Connecticut registered nurse licensure
BLS or CPR Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ACLS required within three months of hire

Schedule:

Rotating weekends and holidays required for all shifts
