Job Responsibilities
- Serve as the administrator on call and responsible for the overall operation at the local office.
- Employ qualified hospice personnel and provision of hospice services.
- Establish and maintain standards of high quality and customer service in compliance with federal and state regulations and guidelines.
- Implement and evaluate goals and objectives for hospice services that meet and promote quality standards.
- Maintain compliance with all legal rules and regulations.
- Meet growth and development targets and actively establish and maintain market acceptance and allegiance throughout the local service area.
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Knowledge of hospice operations
- Understanding of state and federal regulations and compliance
- Experience with Medicaid and Medicare reimbursement
- Strong management skills with P&L responsibility
- Independent working capability
- Effective communication skills
- Time management skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience in healthcare sales or management
- 3-5 years of sales or management experience preferably in a hospice or healthcare environment
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field or equivalent experience
- Ability to learn and apply new knowledge quickly
- Proficiency with multiple online and computer applications
- Problem-resolution skills
