Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate ESRD patient care and services, including tracking vital signs and lab values.
- Ensure high levels of care are delivered to patients, focusing on their safety, comfort, and well-being.
- Build meaningful relationships with patients and their families in an outpatient setting.
- Oversee a group of patients with the support of PCTs for patient observations and machine setups.
- Support and collaborate with a small interdisciplinary team of clinicians.
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook
- Ability to supervise and lead a team
Preferred Skills
- Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN)
- Experience in ICU, CCU, ER, or Med Surg
- Supervisory experience
- Dialysis Charge RN readiness approval
Requirements
Experience: At least 18 months of registered nursing experience
Education: Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) required; B.S.N preferred
License & Certification:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current CPR certification required
