Job Responsibilities
- Perform clinical anesthesia services.
- Attend continuing education conferences and seminars to maintain recertification.
- Model and promote systems change across campus for professional conduct.
- Communicate expectations and provide support and resources in alignment with university vision.
- Create a culture of continuous learning through strategic planning and knowledge development.
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) from accredited CRNA program
- National certification as a CRNA by the NBCRNA
- Current Iowa Board of Nursing RN license
- Current Iowa Board of Nursing ARNP license
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience in the delivery of anesthesia services
Requirements
Experience: New graduates and soon-to-be graduates are encouraged to apply.
Education: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited CRNA program.
License & Certification:
- National certification as a CRNA by the NBCRNA
- Current Iowa Board of Nursing RN license
- Current Iowa Board of Nursing ARNP license
