Job Title: RN Supervisor MedSurg Diabetic Endo

Position: Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC)/RN Supervisor

Job Type: Full Time

Pay: Eligible for a Sign on Bonus of $10K

Shift: Days, 7:00am - 7:00pm with rotating weekends

Job Responsibilities

  • Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care.
  • Participates in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, collaborating with management.
  • Collaborates with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
  • Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.
  • Provides recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff.
  • Recommends and implements courses of action including training and development, conflict resolution, personnel policy compliance, and performance evaluations.
  • Assists with staff scheduling and manages all practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs.
  • Supports proper inventory control and assists with managing supplies and equipment.

Required Skills

Core Skills

  • Licensed as an RN in the State of TX or holds an active compact license
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
  • Recent acute care experience

Preferred Skills

  • Supervisory or charge experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

Requirements

Experience: 1+ years of recent acute care experience required

Education: Associate's Degree required, Bachelor's Degree preferred

License & Certification:

  • Currently licensed as an RN in the State of TX
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support issued by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association required at hire
