Job Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to patients within the Pulmonary Medical unit.
Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to create and implement individualized care plans.
Monitor and assess patients' conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
Provide patient and family education to support understanding of medical conditions and treatment plans.
Document all care provided, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Act as an advocate for patients, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed.

Required Skills

Core Skills

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

Minimum of 1 year of acute care nursing experience with a patient population similar to the Pulmonary Medical unit.
Current Washington State Registered Nurse License upon hire.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association upon hire.

Requirements
