Job Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all clinical operations of the home health agency, including patient care and staff management
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations
- Monitor and evaluate patient care to ensure quality and effectiveness
- Provide guidance and support to nursing staff, including training and development opportunities
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to nursing staff
- Manage the coordination of patient visits
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records
- Participate in the hiring and onboarding process for new nursing staff
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality care
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Current RN license in Vermont
- 3+ years of nursing experience
- 2+ years of experience in home health
- Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations related to home health
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in electronic medical records and other computer systems
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Skills
- Previous Management Experience
