Coordinates functions and activities related to a single departmental function.
Responsible for a clinic unit and coordinating the scheduling efforts of unit RNs.
Acts as liaison to internal and external customers, including pre-hospital providers, medical and nursing staff, and hospital administration.
Develops and implements plans/processes for meeting regulatory requirements.
Trains and mentors staff.

Experience: Two years relevant clinical nursing experience, with a minimum of two years current Level III NICU experience for Level II EQ only.

Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred

License & Certification:

License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona
CPR
ACLS as applicable by Facility/departments
PALS or ENPC for ER required within ninety days
NRP for Post-partum, Nursery, L&D required upon orientation completion
Certification or specialized training in bariatrics for Bariatrics specialty area of practice
Wound-Ostomy Certification or Training in Wound Care and/or Ostomy Care for Wound Care
