Job Responsibilities
- Provide exemplary customer service to patients, visitors and coworkers.
- Deliver convenient, friendly patient care to all who seek health-related services.
- Provide leadership, direction, and assistance during emergencies while maintaining a comforting demeanor for patients.
- Perform medical assessments, treatment, management, and follow-up of clinic patients including primary care, urgent care, occupational health, DOT physicals, and workers compensation.
- Conduct medical procedures such as laceration repairs, nail removal, pap tests, injections, splinting, and abscess incision and drainage.
- Establish and monitor a medically appropriate level of care for clinic patients.
- Oversee, direct, and support on-site laboratory, x-rays, injections, and collections for direct access services.
- Maintain clinical core competency.
- Work with Center Leadership and staff to ensure operations are consistent with medical policy and professional standards.
- Participate in the development, implementation, and revision of policies affecting medical practice, quality of care, and patient satisfaction.
- Assist with in-service and continuing education programs for physicians, nurses, and other personnel.
- Recommend growth and development ideas for new and existing services within the Center.
- Ensure compliance with licensing, certification, and accrediting bodies.
- Participate in development and presentation of education programs for staff.
- Represent the Company and clinic at internal and external meetings or events.
- Provide guidance to other medical staff to ensure quality services and patient satisfaction.
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Experience as a Provider for a minimum of 2 years
- State License as an APRN or Physician Assistant
- Certification as an APRN through AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA
- DEA license, or willingness to obtain upon hire
- DOT certification, or willingness to obtain upon hire
- BLS certification
