Job Responsibilities
- Perform multi-skilled activities to support a decentralized patient-centered approach to patient care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Basic Life Support Certification
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs unassisted
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in various physical conditions including standing, sitting, and walking
Preferred Skills
- Experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant
- EMT or Paramedic certification
- Bachelor’s Degree or enrollment in a healthcare-related program
- Successful completion of a Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, or Nursing Fundamentals course at an accredited institution
Requirements
Experience: One year of patient care work experience in a health care facility
Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
License & Certification:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- Basic Life Support certification (required within 2 weeks of hire)
Schedule:
- Must be available for 4 10-hour shifts including weekends and holidays
- Willingness to work rotating shifts and overtime
