Job Responsibilities

Assist nursing staff with delegated tasks of direct and indirect patient care under supervision of a registered nurse.
Carry out designated skills that align with those of a certified nursing assistant as defined by the Arizona State Board of Nursing.
Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles through the lifespan and interpret information relative to patient's age-specific needs.
Communicate data reflecting patient status and delegated tasks.
Work flexible hours, which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends.

Required Skills

Core Skills

Basic Life Support certification
Experience in health care setting

Preferred Skills

Completion of Block 1 in Nursing
Medical Assistant training
CNA or LNA certification
6 months of experience in the healthcare setting

Requirements

Experience: 6 months of experience in the healthcare setting within the last year preferred.

Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent

License & Certification:

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire

Schedule:

3 weekend shifts per 4 week schedule (Friday/Saturday)
