Position: Advanced Practice Provider in Women's Healthcare

Job Type: Full Time

Pay: Competitive compensation

Shift: Monday-Thursday 8 AM to 4:30 PM, Friday 8 AM to 12 PM

Job Responsibilities

  • Effectively identify, evaluate, and address disease prevention and health promotion issues while administering quality patient care.
  • Provide pre- and post-natal care, family planning services, and patient education and counseling.
  • Work in an independent and interdependent relationship with the physician, other providers, and practice manager for consultation, collaboration or referral.
  • Work in a leadership role with the staff.
  • Diagnose and treat acute, chronic, and long-term healthcare issues.
  • Educate patients and/or families about preventive care, medical issues, and the use of prescribed medical treatments and/or medications.
  • Prescribe medications and therapies; order/perform and interpret diagnostic testing and procedures.
  • Perform patient exams, screenings, treatments, and record patient health history.

Required Skills

Core Skills

  • National Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certification
  • Unrestricted, active licensure in the state
  • Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain
  • CPR, BLS, and NALS Certification or ability to obtain
  • Proficient in assessment and development of treatment plans
  • Ability to communicate with patients, team members, and management staff
  • Ability to make care decisions based on the best medical practices without direct supervision or guidance by a physician

Preferred Skills

  • One year of full-time experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is preferred
