Job Responsibilities

Coordinates functions and activities related to a single departmental function.
Responsible for a clinic unit.
Coordinates the scheduling efforts of the unit RN's.
Acts as liaison person to internal and external customers (i.e., pre-hospital providers, medical and nursing staff, hospital administration).
Responsible for developing and implementing plans/processes for meeting regulatory requirements.
Trains and mentors staff.

Requirements

Experience: Two years relevant clinical nursing experience; minimum of two years of current Level III NICU experience required for Level II EQ Only.

Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited nursing school; preferred BSN.

License & Certification:

License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona.
CPR.
ACLS as applicable by facility/department.
PALS or ENPC for ER required within ninety days.
NRP required for L&D upon orientation completion.
Wound-Ostomy Certification or Training in Wound Care and/or Ostomy Care for Wound Care.
