Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and report deficiencies to supervisor.
Assume responsibility for the appropriate care of medical equipment.
Perform a comprehensive assessment of the chief complaint and patient needs.
Seek solutions and offer opinions to physicians and other health care providers.
Document all nursing assessments in the patient’s medical record.
Perform routine nursing duties including phlebotomy, medication administration, and measurement of vital signs.
Demonstrate clinical competency in complex specialty-related procedures.
Communicate and collaborate with other clinical and administrative departments.
Triage and prioritize incoming telephone calls.
Manage urgent/emergent medical situations as appropriate.
Serve as a resource for staff and physicians for daily problem solving.
Initiate and coordinate patient education.
Provide teaching to staff and participate in community outreach education.

Experience: 2 years of relevant clinical experience in an acute or ambulatory care environment

Education: Associate’s degree in Nursing
