Job Responsibilities
- Organize services across provider lines to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Conduct Utilization Review, Discharge Planning, Social Services, and Resource Management.
- Perform daily review of medical records to ensure appropriateness of admissions and continued hospital stays.
- Provide nursing care to patients using the nursing process including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Direct and lead other assigned team members.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide age and developmentally appropriate care.
- Ensure the development of nursing diagnoses and planning, implementation of interventions, and evaluation of goals.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment ensuring patient privacy.
- Participate in shared governance and adhere to standards of care.
- Identify clinical priorities and initiate action to improve patient outcomes.

Requirements
Experience: Three years work experience as a Registered Nurse; two years of case management and/or utilization review preferred.
Education: Associate’s Degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
License & Certification:
- Registered Nurse license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
- ACLS certification from American Heart Association (AHA)
