Job Responsibilities
- Support a team of 10-12 Field Experience Counselors, including coaching, counseling, mentoring, advising, and training.
- Maintain and report on performance indicators and results, developing team-based management approaches for improved employee engagement and performance results.
- Encourage team to ensure students are on track with graduation goals and create and maintain relationships with hospitals and healthcare clients for student placement.
- Verify student placement and academic progress.
- Maintain knowledge and currency in applicable compliance regulations through self-study, conferences, training, and workshops.
- Conduct proactive risk assessments to ensure compliance with regulations and university policies.
- Ensure assigned employees' competencies are current through testing and training.
- Assist specialists in developing awareness of securing healthcare client acceptance for field placements.
- Recommend process changes and tracking methods for efficiency and prepare daily and weekly reports, performance metrics, and projections.
- Collaborate with other staff to ensure university web-based content and policy and procedures manuals are accurate and up to date.

Requirements
Experience: A minimum of 3 years in higher education, healthcare, or management experience preferred.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline from a regionally accredited institution; master’s degree is preferred.
