Establish and enforce policies, procedures, standards and objectives.
Direct and supervise staff as well as workflow.
Maintain budgetary or fiscal accountability.
Oversee the ongoing effective operation of the assigned Nursing department.
Support the hospital’s mission, vision, goals and objectives.
Focus on patients, physicians, employees, volunteers and the community as customers.
Accountable for continuous assessment, improvement, coordination and integration of department services and standards of care.
Approve timekeeping and employee evaluations.
Ensure meeting of applicable regulatory standards.
Approve supply orders and department strategic planning.

Experience: Five years experience in nursing management in a hospital setting with three years supervisory experience required.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Management or related field, or equivalent minimum experience requirements.

License & Certification:

Current Arizona Registered Nurse License
Training in wound care and hyperbaric therapy from a nationally recognized provider
