Job Title: Director of Nursing

Position: Registered Nurse overseeing Medical Assistant and Office Admin teams

Job Type: Full Time

Pay: 85000-105000 Yearly Salary, eligibility for a quarterly performance-based bonus

Shift: Monday–Friday, with flexibility for occasional extended or weekend shifts

Job Responsibilities

  • Supervise, mentor, and manage Office Admin and Medical Assistant teams at each clinic location.
  • Ensure accurate and timely scheduling of ACT appointments.
  • Conduct home visits for patient admissions and perform comprehensive nursing assessments.
  • Coordinate and schedule psychiatric consultations after home visit assessments.
  • Monitor productivity metrics and provide ongoing training and support to staff.
  • Utilize Athena EHR for clinical documentation and patient information management.
  • Foster continuous improvement in administrative procedures across clinic locations.
  • Collaborate with providers and case managers for comprehensive patient care.
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure efficient patient flow.
  • Standardize protocols for patient check-in/out, appointment scheduling, and documentation.
  • Ensure accurate patient census and assist with clinical tasks.
  • Address patient concerns related to service quality.
  • Conduct periodic audits of patient records and clinical documentation.
  • Provide mentorship and skill-building opportunities for MAs and OAs.
  • Analyze appointment follow-up rates, documentation metrics, and staffing trends.

Required Skills

Core Skills

  • Proven leadership experience in managing administrative or clinical teams
  • Proficiency in Athena EHR and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong clinical assessment skills
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills

  • Bilingual (Spanish or Arabic)
  • Experience in community mental health settings
  • Clinical knowledge to provide direct support

Requirements

Experience: Proven leadership experience managing administrative or clinical teams

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree or higher preferred

License & Certification:

  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN)
  • IMCANS Active certification

Schedule:

  • Full-time position with regular hours and flexibility for extended shifts
