Position: Experienced Nurse Practitioner in Family Medicine
Job Type: Full Time
Pay: $82.77/hr - $94.30/hr
Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Job Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and address disease prevention and health promotion issues of the population.
- Administer quality patient care.
- Work independently and collaboratively with medical staff.
- Prescribe medications and treatments, and manage ongoing medication.
- Order lab and diagnostic tests, and interpret test results.
- Educate patients and families about preventive care and medical issues.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records.
- Document all evaluations, diagnoses, and treatments according to established standards.
- Analyze new knowledge gained from training and assimilate it into clinical practice.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Knowledge of age-specific principles of growth and development
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and staff
- Responsibility for ongoing educational growth
Preferred Skills
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
- Experience in wound care
- Ability to provide advanced nursing knowledge related to hospice and adult medicine
Requirements
Experience: Minimum of five years clinical experience required.
Education: Must fulfill educational requirements to obtain ARNP license in state of practice.
License & Certification:
- Nurse Practitioner - Alaska
- Drug Enforcement Administration registration
- Drivers License with proof of auto insurance
- Basic Life Support certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (preferred)
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
