Job Responsibilities
- Ensure nursing operations are smooth and effective within the healthcare facility and/or department.
- Provide administrative support for the nursing manager and entire nursing department.
- Oversee daily operations of the units to ensure proper patient care.
- Assist with patient care and relay information to doctors.
- Communicate with various healthcare professionals.
- Provide information about care and treatment to patients.
- Assist nursing staff with various problems and resolve patient complaints.
- Train and educate nursing staff, including performing orientations and coordinating regular staff training.
- Conduct staff meetings and gather staff feedback.
- Coordinate internships and preceptorships.
- Involve in human resource management including recruiting and hiring nursing staff.
- Address staff issues or concerns and help resolve interpersonal conflicts.
- Address behavioral problems among individual employees.

Requirements
Experience: 5+ years of hospital-based acute care experience in an ICU unit or similar and a minimum of 1 year leadership or management experience.
Education: Current Registered Nurse Licensure (either associates or bachelor’s degree).

- ACLS
- PALS
- TNCC
