Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation of best practice models.
- Support investigations into patient/family/member concerns regarding patient care.
- Collaborate with physicians, outside healthcare providers, and other healthcare team members.
- Allocate resources in assigned clinical areas.
- Supervise the use and maintenance of equipment, supplies, and medications.
- Maintain a safe environment for patients and employees.
- Provide clinical supervision and maintain clinical expertise.
- Delegate tasks and duties aligned to scope of practice.
- Perform clinical duties as required.
- Recommend developmental opportunities for team members.
- Solicit and act on performance feedback.
- Mentor and coach team members for performance improvement.
- Ensure all policies and procedures are followed.
- Supervisor and coordinate daily activities of the designated work team or unit.
- Align team efforts and standards, and measure progress in achieving results.
- Develop work plans to meet business priorities and deadlines.
- Facilitate team meetings and management decisions.
- Supervise hospital administrative functions to support patient care.
- Manage care delivery operations and programs in a 24/7 environment.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor continuous improvement of quality and safety of clinical practices.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of systems to improve patient care.
