Job Responsibilities

Deliver high quality, patient-centered care and coordinate all functions in the unit.
Monitor and evaluate nursing care in accordance with established policies.
Serve as a resource for staff and support an unparalleled patient experience.
Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.
Assist with admission and discharge processes.
Partner with subject matter experts and leadership team to support improved outcomes and service.
Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.
Assist with staff scheduling.

Required Skills

Core Skills

4+ years of PCU experience in an acute care setting
Basic Cardiac Life Support certification

Preferred Skills

Registered Nurse licensed in the state of Texas or compact
Associate Degree; BSN required within 24 months of hire

Requirements

Experience: 4+ years of PCU experience in acute care setting

Education: Associate Degree; BSN required within 24 months of hire

License & Certification:

Registered Nurse licensed in the state of Texas or compact
Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
