Job Responsibilities
- Obtain and document a health history.
- Perform and document complete, system-focused, or symptom-specific physical examinations, assessments, and plans of care.
- Collaborate to provide healthcare services for primary, acute, and complex care of patients.
- Manage the patient's overall care, identifying expected outcomes for diagnoses.
- Order, perform, interpret, and collect data using appropriate assessment techniques.
- Form differential diagnoses and treat acute and chronic conditions.
- Prescribe therapeutic interventions, both pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic.
- Utilize evidence-based, approved practice protocols in planning and implementing care.
- Initiate appropriate referrals and consultations.
- Facilitate patient transitions within healthcare settings, such as admitting, transferring, and discharging patients.
